YE Leadership Series - Managing your Manager

Back by popular demand, the YE Leadership Series presented in partnership with Leadership Saskatoon!

Last year's sessions were so well recieved we've teamed back up with Leadership Saskatoon to offer 4 new sessions to provide participants with some practical and powerful leadership tools.  Each month, a Leadership Saskatoon Facilitator will provide insights and guidance for a different skill good leaders need.

Our series begins with "Managing your Manager".  We spend many (if not most) of our waking hours at work, so the relationships that we have with our superiors plays a huge role in our personal satisfaction and ability to achieving career and personal goals.  Whether you see eye-to-eye or head-to-toe with your management, it is important to understand that ways that you can shape interactions with your bosses to improve relationships and ultimately help you be more effective, motivated and fulfilled.

This session will cover topics such as:

  • How to better interact with your superiors when you don’t see eye to eye
  • Self-awareness & handling expectations
  • Communication tools & strategies for managing this relationship

NOTE:  The Leadership Series is hosted by the Young Executives but is open to all members!  Attendance in all sessions of the Leadership Series is encouraged but in no way mandatory!  Each session is designed to both stand on its own, and easily integrate into the others.
