The Saskatoon Construction Association is excited to offer our members an opportunity to learn more about the proposed changes to the Small Business Tax.

Chris Friesen and Braxton Lawrence of Investors Group Financial Services, in partnership with Matt McMillan from Deloitte Canada, will be holding a discussion on the proposed 2017 Federal tax changes. This discussion will include a summary of what exactly these changes entail and how they could directly impact Saskatoon Construction Association members going forward. The various financial planning strategies and investment tools that can be implemented to best prepare for these possible changes will also be a key part of the discussion.  Breakfast is included!

Chris, Braxton, and Matt are also eager to answer any questions or concerns you have about the proposed changes.  If you are attending this session and would like a particular question answered, please send the question to Brenan at the Saskatoon Construction Association at This email address is being protected from spambots. Construction Documents are the basic means of communication in the construction industry.  The key to properly interpreting construction documents lays in understanding the basic framework of a full set of documents.

A complete set of construction documents is comprised of two equally important and linked components:

The full-day seminar will include review and discussion on both components; their importance, priority, details, information and influence on the construction industry.

This seminar will be broken into 2 content blocks for complementary content in the morning and afternoon, which together will provide the basics needed to effectively use construction documents to the benefit of operations and the projects as a whole.  Attendance for the entire seminar is required to receive recognition for completion.
