Learn on your own schedule.  Our online courses are available 24/7 365 days a year! Please fill out the attached form and an Association Staff Member will be in touch with you with instructions and your online pin!

Please note that the date attached to these courses does not impact when you are eligible to take them - and is for our records only.

We work hard to find experienced instructors with respected track records and local industry mentors to lead our courses to ensure all students are getting the most from their training. Small class sizes allow for discussion and each industry focused course is a chance to network with other members of the industry.

Contractor success depends heavily on the field production of tradesmen. This seminar will define Field Productivity, discuss the effects of low Field Productivity and outline approaches to increase Field Productivity.

Outline –

1. Introduction to Field Productivity

2. The Contractor’s Role in improving Productivity

3. The Supervisor’s Role in Improving Field Productivity

4. Labour Productivity

5. Equipment Productivity

6. Factors that Impact Productivity

7. Quantifying Lost Productivity

The aim of this course is to provide tools for scheduling at the Site and Crew Level. Site Management (Superintendent, General Foremen and Foremen) influence millions of dollars of construction a year. They must ensure that all resources are being used efficiently with minimal waste. Yet often, they receive very little in the way of training on how to plan and schedule field activities.
